Overview

Uber is hiring an Operations Lead for their Financial Business Group in APAC to shape and grow their financial services business. You'll be responsible for developing new financial products and executing go-to-market strategies. This role requires strong strategic and operational skills.

Who you are

You have a strong background in strategy and business operations, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. You possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to build robust business cases informed by market and financial analysis. Your ability to lead discovery through stakeholder interviews and customer research is essential for identifying unmet user needs.

You are adept at managing cross-functional teams and driving the end-to-end sourcing process, including RFI/RFP development and commercial negotiations. Your experience working closely with legal, risk, and compliance teams ensures that you meet local regulatory requirements effectively.

You have a proven track record of defining and executing go-to-market strategies, establishing feedback loops to measure product adoption and satisfaction. Your ability to lead post-launch governance and monitor performance will be crucial in this role.

Desirable

Experience in the financial services sector, particularly with products like co-branded credit cards or digital wallets, is a plus. Familiarity with market trends in the Asia Pacific region will help you navigate the competitive landscape effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the end-to-end development and lifecycle management of new financial products across APAC. You will be accountable for everything from initial concept through post-launch optimization, ensuring that products meet user needs and achieve sustainable unit economics.

You will build detailed cost models and forecasts to support your business cases, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment on product vision and strategy. Your leadership will guide the sourcing process, working with cross-functional teams to evaluate partners and negotiate commercial terms.

You will define and execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring that marketing efforts align with product features and user expectations. Establishing feedback loops will be essential for measuring adoption and engagement, allowing you to iterate on product features based on user feedback.

Your role will also involve continuous monitoring of product performance and managing relationships with partners to mitigate risks and enhance customer experience. You will play a key role in shaping Uber's financial services business in the Asia Pacific region, driving initiatives that align with the company's global commerce strategy.
