Who you are

You have over 6 years of experience in performance marketing, specifically in building multi-channel and cross-channel strategies. Your background includes a strong understanding of how to craft and execute effective marketing strategies that drive user engagement and conversion. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, or a related field, which has equipped you with the analytical skills necessary for this role.

Your ability to analyze and structure data allows you to turn insights into actionable strategies that assist senior management and other business leaders in decision-making. You possess a high level of business acumen and an analytical approach, enabling you to navigate complex marketing challenges effectively. Strong stakeholder management skills are part of your toolkit, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with various teams.

You are an excellent communicator, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Your organized and thorough work ethic ensures that you manage multiple projects effectively while maintaining a focus on results. You thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to contributing positively to Uber's cultural identity.

Desirable

Experience in the delivery or food service industry would be a plus, as would familiarity with the EMEA market. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are adaptable to changing priorities. Your proactive nature means you are always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build the paid channel strategy for Uber's delivery business, collaborating closely with strategy and planning, operations, and finance teams. You will develop plans in partnership with channel excellence teams that guide the execution of the paid channels strategy. Your proactive monitoring and reporting on performance will provide insights that inform strategic recommendations on how paid channels can address local marketing challenges.

You will work closely with channel excellence teams to transform initiatives launched by the delivery vertical into globally scaled solutions. Your role will involve crafting the global performance marketing strategy for delivery across paid channels such as SEM, Display, Social, and Affiliate. You will ensure that the delivery strategy is adapted to local challenges and opportunities, working with regional leads to tailor approaches that resonate with diverse markets.

Your analytical skills will be crucial as you assess the effectiveness of various marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance. You will be responsible for presenting insights and recommendations to senior management, helping to shape the overall marketing strategy for the delivery vertical.
