Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in pricing analysis and yield management, with experience in structuring complex commercial deals. Your analytical skills allow you to dive deep into financial details while maintaining a strategic overview of pricing discipline and governance. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product, to ensure compliance and data integrity in deal documentation.

You possess a deep understanding of pricing trends and metrics, leveraging SQL to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership. Your ability to model the economics of retail deals demonstrates your capability to balance aggressive growth targets with margin requirements and yield optimization. You are proactive in identifying process improvements and have experience working with technical teams to create new functionalities and tools.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for modeling the economics of complex commercial retail deals, ensuring that pricing strategies align with both growth targets and profitability. You will leverage your SQL skills to analyze pricing trends and provide recommendations to leadership, playing a crucial role in the decision-making process. You will also ensure compliance with Salesforce by managing deal documentation quality and coordinating approvals with Finance and Legal teams.

Your responsibilities will include improving processes and models, collaborating with Tech, Product, and Data teams to develop new functionalities and dashboards for commercial teams. You will assist in building out, tracking, and reporting key metrics that drive the success of the Deal Desk team. Your role will be pivotal in structuring high-value partnerships with major retailers and small businesses, contributing to the long-term health and profitability of Uber's retail and grocery operations.
