**About the Role** The Mexico Taxi Team is responsible for developing and executing on a strategy for integrating taxis onto Uber’s platform - as a means of tapping into new markets and providing opportunities for new earners to work on the platform. We are seeking an individual who has strong operational and business acumen, who can lead key initiatives to deliver our Taxi strategy. This is a key position to help grow one of Mexico’s most exciting growth bets. ##### **What the Candidate Will Do** - **Strategic Ownership:** Work with leadership to set strategy, lead critical project plans, and help execute. - **Problem solving:** Scope particular problems around growth, market entry and driver experience to create new solutions. - **Executional Excellence:** Lead strategic programmes, including building new teams, processes and approaches to grow ourTaxi Business - **Business Acumen:** Report on Taxi performance, owning operational data and driving analysis to make critical business decisions. - **Planning & Organization**: Ability to plan complex/multi-faceted projects, defining timelines, deliverables, and delegate tasks and responsibilities. - **Partnership management:** Work with external key taxi and technology partnerships to grow new solutions to onboard and grow the number of taxi drivers working in the platform. - **Sales Project Management:** Own the end-to-end operational lifecycle of a sales team, ensuring alignment with company KPIs. - **Operational Leadership:** Provide daily management to sales representatives, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and aggressive growth. ##### **Basic Qualifications** - **Experience:** 5+ years of professional experience in operations, strategy, or project management - **Data-Driven Mentality**: Experience making decisions based on data analysis; proficiency in SQL is a strong plus - **Adaptability**: Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment while maintaining high-quality work standards - **Communication**: Proficiency in Spanish and English; demonstrated ability to present data to various audiences in a succinct manner - **Proven Field Leadership**: experience managing a field sales team, with a demonstrated ability to lead "feet on the ground" in high-activity environments. ##### **Preferred Qualifications** - **Stakeholder management** - **Product Acceleration:** Experience growing products - **Data analysis tools:** SQL, Python, and visualization tools Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
