Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in strategy and operations, ideally within a marketplace environment — you've successfully managed business segments and understand the intricacies of balancing multiple stakeholders. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to leverage data to drive decisions and optimize performance metrics.
You possess a strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, including pricing strategies and customer retention — you've designed and executed A/B tests to validate your hypotheses and improve user engagement. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams ensures that you can bridge the gap between product and operations seamlessly.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the end-to-end strategy for your marketplace segment, identifying growth opportunities and building operational playbooks to capture them. You will manage the strategic deployment of incentives and pricing levers, analyzing elasticity to balance growth with sustainable unit economics. Your focus will be on performance management, owning the core KPIs for your business area and driving significant improvements.
You will design and execute rigorous A/B experiments to optimize marketplace behavior, using data to decide whether to pivot, kill, or scale initiatives. Partnering with Global Product teams, you will launch and localize new features in the Canadian market, ensuring that they align with local needs and preferences. Your role will be pivotal in shaping how Canadians eat and shop through the Uber Eats platform.
