Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in account management, particularly in managing renewals and customer relationships. Your ability to proactively engage with customers 60-90 days before renewal dates ensures that you understand their needs and secure contract renewals effectively. You are comfortable navigating standard MSA contracts, including auto-renewal clauses and annual uplifts, and you maintain accurate forecasting in Salesforce.

Your experience allows you to conduct light discovery conversations to gauge customer health, usage, and satisfaction. You excel in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, addressing their concerns and objections proactively. Collaboration is key for you, as you work closely with Customer Success Managers on at-risk accounts to ensure retention and satisfaction.

What you'll do

As a Renewal Specialist at Vanta, you will own the end-to-end renewal process for a portfolio of 2-250 accounts in the up to 10 employees segment. You will proactively reach out to customers to manage an average of 10-15 renewals per month, adjusting for quarterly cycles. Your role will involve accurately forecasting renewal outcomes and maintaining forecasting hygiene in Salesforce/Clarity.

You will conduct light discovery conversations to understand customer health, usage, and satisfaction, ensuring that you build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Addressing customer concerns and objections proactively will be a critical part of your responsibilities, as will collaborating with Customer Success Managers on at-risk accounts. Your efforts will directly contribute to driving customer retention and revenue growth within the Account Management department.
