Veeva Systems is hiring an Engagement Manager for their Medical Content team to oversee customer success and project operations. You'll work cross-functionally with various teams to drive business growth. This role is remote and requires strong relationship management skills.

You have a strong background in managing customer engagements and ensuring project success — your experience in the life sciences or SaaS industry has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex client relationships effectively. You understand the importance of operational excellence and are committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for your clients.

Your ability to work cross-functionally is one of your key strengths — you thrive in collaborative environments where you can partner with sales, product, strategy, and marketing teams to drive cohesive approaches to customer success. You are adaptable and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.

You are passionate about the life sciences industry and understand the unique challenges it faces — your insights into medical content and information projects will help you inform offerings and services that meet client needs. You are also comfortable with remote work and can manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Desirable

Experience in medical affairs or consulting is a plus, as is familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools. You are proactive in seeking out opportunities for improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance the customer experience.

What you'll do

As an Engagement Manager at Veeva, you will take ownership of customer success for Medical Content and Medical Information projects — this includes overseeing project operations and ensuring that all engagements are executed with excellence. You will manage key relationships with customers, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate closely with various teams, including sales and product, to inform offerings and drive business growth — your insights will be invaluable in shaping the direction of projects and ensuring alignment with customer goals. You will also leverage your expertise to support broader Medical Affairs initiatives, partnering with key offerings like Link and CRM to enhance service delivery.

Your role will involve regular communication with clients to understand their challenges and provide solutions that drive success — you will be responsible for setting expectations, managing timelines, and delivering results that exceed client expectations. You will also play a key role in identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts and developing strategies to capitalize on them.
