You are knowledgeable about web security practices and have a strong background in building scalable solutions — your expertise in developing low-latency firewalls for high-traffic environments ensures that you can protect millions of websites effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to push the state of the art forward in web security.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the CDN Security team, you will analyze traffic patterns to identify bad traffic and bad actors — your work will directly impact the security of Vercel's customers, ensuring they only pay for traffic they consider valid. You will build and operate a scalable low-latency firewall that protects millions of websites, contributing to a safer web experience for users.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers and product managers to enhance the security features of Vercel's platform — your insights will help shape the direction of our CDN security initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to push the boundaries of web security, implementing innovative solutions that address emerging threats.
