Overview

Verily is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to lead Federal compliance efforts, particularly in FedRAMP and FISMA. You'll work with engineering and product teams to ensure compliance with stringent security requirements. This role requires a strong background in Federal compliance programs.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in leading Federal compliance programs, particularly with FedRAMP and FISMA β€” your expertise in guiding engineering and product teams ensures that they meet the necessary security requirements. You understand the complexities of compliance in the public sector and are adept at navigating regulatory landscapes. Your experience includes developing and managing compliance programs that align with organizational goals and federal mandates.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams β€” you can articulate compliance requirements to technical teams and ensure that everyone is aligned on objectives. Your leadership style fosters a culture of accountability and inclusivity, ensuring that all team members feel valued and engaged in the compliance process.

You are detail-oriented and analytical, with a knack for identifying potential compliance risks before they become issues β€” your proactive approach helps maintain the integrity of the compliance program. You are also committed to continuous improvement, always seeking ways to enhance processes and ensure that compliance efforts are efficient and effective.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the development, implementation, and management of Verily's FedRAMP and FISMA compliance program β€” you will ensure that all relevant products meet or exceed federal requirements. You will lead efforts to achieve the necessary Authority to Operate for Verily’s products, directly supporting our offerings that serve Federal Agency Customers.

You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to integrate compliance requirements into the product development lifecycle β€” your guidance will be crucial in helping teams understand and implement necessary security controls. You will also conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Your responsibilities will include developing training materials and conducting training sessions for team members on compliance best practices β€” you will be the go-to expert for compliance-related inquiries and will help foster a culture of compliance within the organization. You will also stay updated on changes in federal regulations and ensure that the compliance program adapts accordingly.

What we offer

At Verily, we offer a collaborative and inclusive work environment where you can thrive β€” we believe in the power of diverse perspectives and encourage you to bring your unique experiences to the table. You will have opportunities for professional growth and development, with access to resources that support your career advancement.

We are committed to creating a culture of inclusion, belonging, and equitability β€” you will be part of a team that values your contributions and supports your growth. Our mission is to change the way healthcare is delivered, and you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of security and compliance.

Join us in our mission to bring precision health to everyone, every day β€” your work will have a direct impact on improving health outcomes for individuals and communities.
