You have a strong background in software engineering, particularly in building cloud-native applications. Your experience includes working with open-source components like Kubernetes and Terraform, which are essential for creating scalable and secure platforms. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy contributing to a team that values innovation and efficiency.

You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can scope tasks effectively, setting priorities for yourself and your team. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly is vital, as you will work closely with engineers from various backgrounds. What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Platform Engineering team, you will design and develop capabilities that leverage state-of-the-art cloud-native open-source components. Your responsibilities will include enhancing the developer experience through integrated capabilities in application templates and developer portals. You will also contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, ensuring a smooth software development lifecycle for over 600 engineers at Verily.

You will collaborate with other engineers who have worked on successful projects like Kubernetes and Firebase, learning from their experiences while also sharing your insights. Your role will involve scoping tasks and setting priorities for team members, ensuring that everyone is aligned with the project objectives. You will be instrumental in creating a speedy, delightful, scalable, and secure developer journey.
