You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in the technology or security sectors β you understand the nuances of selling complex solutions to mid-sized companies and can navigate the sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You are results-driven and thrive in a competitive environment, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to build strong relationships with clients and understand their needs deeply. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a thriving in-office culture. You are adaptable and open to learning about Verkada's innovative products and how they fit into the market landscape.
Desirable
Experience in selling physical security solutions or related technology products is a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales methodologies will help you excel in this role. A background in working with mid-market clients across various sectors such as Technology, Finance, and Healthcare will give you an edge in understanding client needs.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and closing new business opportunities within mid-sized companies across the Western United States. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting for new customers to hosting online demos and creating tailored proposals. Building an intimate understanding of Verkada's products and their applications in the industry will be crucial for your success. You will collaborate closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. Regularly meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas will be a key performance indicator for your role. You will also participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your sales skills and product knowledge.
