What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Verkada, you will be a key member of the Core Platform team, responsible for architecting and developing the platform that powers Verkada’s suite of IoT devices. You will build scalable distributed systems capable of handling high traffic from numerous devices, ensuring that our solutions are reliable and efficient. Your role will involve spinning up new services within a microservices architecture, allowing for rapid deployment and iteration of features.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions. Your responsibilities will also include leading code reviews, providing mentorship to junior engineers, and contributing to the overall technical direction of the team.
