Verkada is seeking an Associate for their Pricing & Commercial Operations team to develop processes around pricing strategy and execution. This role requires collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Product teams to balance revenue and margin goals.

Who you are
You are an entry-level professional eager to dive into the world of pricing and commercial operations. You possess a strong analytical mindset and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams. Your ability to communicate effectively will help you collaborate with Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, and Product teams to develop and deliver processes that enhance pricing strategies. You are detail-oriented and can manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring that the global sales teams can operate swiftly and effectively.
Desirable
While not required, any experience in sales operations or finance would be beneficial. Familiarity with pricing strategies or commercial operations will give you an edge in this role. You are adaptable and ready to learn, with a keen interest in understanding how pricing impacts overall business performance.
What you'll do
In this role, you will balance revenue and margin goals across various products, channels, segments, and geographies. You will develop scalable processes that support the management of diverse deal types, from large multi-million dollar contracts with global companies to smaller deals with mid-sized businesses. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency of the sales process, ensuring that the sales teams can customize solutions quickly and effectively for their clients. You will also assist in the development of the Deal Desk, which aims to accelerate revenue while meeting margin targets. This position offers significant exposure to company executives and the opportunity to influence key business decisions.
