Who you are

You have a proven track record in field marketing, ideally within the technology or security sectors, and possess a deep understanding of the Japanese market. Your experience includes developing and executing marketing strategies that align with sales objectives, driving customer engagement, and generating demand. You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, external partners, and marketing peers, to create impactful campaigns. You are fluent in both Japanese and English, allowing you to communicate effectively with local stakeholders and global teams. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable adapting strategies based on market feedback and performance metrics.

Desirable

Experience in the physical security or technology industry is a plus, as is familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics. You have a knack for storytelling and can craft compelling narratives that resonate with your audience. Your analytical mindset enables you to assess campaign performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize future initiatives.

What you'll do

As the Field Marketing Manager for Verkada in Japan, you will be responsible for defining the regional marketing strategy and executing campaigns that drive customer acquisition and retention. You will work closely with your Growth lead to develop a comprehensive marketing plan that meets the unique needs of the Japanese market. This includes identifying key focus areas, understanding customer pain points, and tailoring messaging to resonate with local audiences. You will collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment on goals and share insights that inform marketing efforts. Your role will also involve managing relationships with external partners and influencers to enhance brand visibility and credibility in the region.

You will execute best-in-class marketing campaigns in both English and Japanese, leveraging various channels such as digital marketing, events, and content marketing to engage potential customers. You will analyze campaign performance metrics to assess effectiveness and iterate on strategies to improve results. Additionally, you will play a key role in driving customer success and loyalty by ensuring that marketing initiatives align with customer needs and expectations.
