Verkada is hiring a Hardware Compliance Engineer to lead certification efforts for their safety and security products. You'll collaborate with hardware and mechanical engineers to navigate compliance requirements. This role is based in Taipei, Taiwan.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in hardware compliance and certification processes, ideally with experience in safety and security products. You are skilled at translating safety standards into clear product requirements and test plans, ensuring that new hardware products meet global compliance requirements. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and program managers to develop high-performing design solutions. You are detail-oriented and possess a deep understanding of regulatory requirements that impact product development.
What you'll do
As a Hardware Compliance Engineer at Verkada, you will serve as the subject matter expert for certifications relevant to our next generation of life safety and security products. You will steer all-new hardware products through a growing set of global compliance requirements, ensuring that they meet necessary standards from concept definition through to mass production and shipping. You will work directly with cross-functional teams to validate design solutions and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your role will involve developing and validating test plans, as well as collaborating closely with engineering teams to address compliance challenges throughout the product lifecycle.
