Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in product design, particularly in creating and maintaining design systems. Your expertise in Figma allows you to define and manage component libraries effectively, ensuring consistency across various platforms. You understand the importance of accessibility and usability in design, and you advocate for user-centered design principles in your work.
You possess strong collaboration skills, enabling you to work closely with UX designers and frontend engineers. You can communicate design concepts clearly and ensure that technical feasibility aligns with design aspirations. Your ability to create interactive prototypes and test components demonstrates your hands-on approach to design.
What you'll do
In this role, you will define and maintain the core Figma component library, ensuring that it serves as the source of truth for the design team. You will create scalable systems that work seamlessly across responsive web, mobile, and specialized hardware interfaces. Establishing governance processes for new components will be a key responsibility, as you will ensure that all designs are vetted and integrated effectively.
You will act as a bridge between design and engineering, advocating for pixel-perfect implementation and addressing any technical challenges that arise.
