What you'll do

As a Sales Development Representative, you will participate in Verkada's Account Executive Development Program, Verkademy. This program is designed to fast-track your development into a Mid-Market Account Executive role. You will engage in various training modules that cover essential sales skills, including prospecting, discovery, and conducting effective demos. Your role will involve reaching out to potential customers, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating how Verkada's solutions can meet those needs.

You will work closely with experienced sales professionals who will mentor you throughout your journey. Your responsibilities will include generating leads, qualifying prospects, and setting appointments for the sales team. You will learn to navigate the sales process and develop the skills necessary to close deals successfully. As you progress through the program, you will gain hands-on experience and insights into the sales cycle, preparing you for a successful transition into a closing role.
