You are a proven technical leader with a strong background in solutions engineering, capable of leading and developing high-performing teams. You have a track record of hiring, mentoring, and fostering an inclusive environment that encourages engagement and performance. Your entrepreneurial spirit drives you to identify gaps and take ownership of building out programs and processes that support your team. You excel in navigating complex technical solutions and are adept at problem-solving, ensuring that your team can effectively address technical escalations. You understand the importance of cross-functional collaboration and are skilled at connecting with various stakeholders to drive initiatives forward.
Desirable
Experience in cloud physical security or related fields would be a plus, as would familiarity with AI-powered platforms. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on team development and technical excellence.
What you'll do
As the Solutions Engineering Director at Verkada, you will lead the Select & Territory Solutions Engineering teams, reporting directly to the VP of Solutions Engineering. Your primary responsibility will be to hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team that is engaged and inclusive. You will act as a technical coach and mentor, guiding your team through complex technical challenges and escalations. You will also be responsible for building out programs and processes that enhance the effectiveness of the Solutions Engineering team. Your role will require you to work cross-functionally with other departments to drive initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives. You will play a key role in shaping the team's culture and ensuring that all team members feel supported and empowered to succeed.
