Voltus is seeking a Sales Director to drive revenue through the sale of Battery Energy Storage System optimization services and demand response programs. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the energy sector, with a focus on commercial and industrial clients. Your experience includes managing the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and you excel at building and maintaining relationships with key customers. You are driven by results and have a strong understanding of the energy transition and its implications for businesses. You possess a balance of 'hunter' and 'farmer' skills, allowing you to generate new business while nurturing existing accounts. You are a collaborative team player who communicates effectively across functions to ensure that proposed solutions are both technically viable and economically attractive.
Desirable
Experience in selling energy optimization services or demand response programs is a plus. Familiarity with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients will set you apart. A passion for sustainability and a commitment to diversity within the energy industry are highly valued at Voltus.
What you'll do
As the Sales Director at Voltus, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling our innovative Battery Energy Storage System optimization services and demand response programs. You will manage the entire sales process, from identifying potential clients to closing deals, ensuring that you meet or exceed sales targets. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and propose solutions that maximize operational flexibility for our clients, ultimately helping them generate cash and unlock bill savings. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the sales lifecycle and ensuring their needs are met. You will also be expected to contribute to the overall strategy of the sales team, identifying new market opportunities and developing strategies to capitalize on them.
