Who you are
You hold a master's degree and have a strong background in business, particularly in consumer products or gaming. Your analytical and communication skills are excellent, allowing you to effectively engage with various stakeholders. You possess great interpersonal skills and are open to feedback, which helps you build strong relationships in the industry. Fluency in both English and Chinese is essential for this role, enabling you to navigate the local market effectively. Outside of work, you have a passion for creative pursuits such as art, crafts, or music, which adds to your well-rounded personality.
What you'll do
As a Publishing Manager at Voodoo, you will join a high-performing team dedicated to creating and launching hybrid-casual games. Your primary responsibility will be to establish a strong local network of studios, acting as the face of Voodoo in the Chinese market. You will partner with top local studios to manage games throughout their lifecycle, from ideation to scaling. This includes working exclusively with 15 studios on ideation, prototypes, and iterations. You will own multiple game launches and their product roadmaps each quarter, along with managing the games' P&L. Your role will place you at the forefront of product management and games publishing, where you will contribute to Voodoo's mission of entertaining the world.
