What you'll do

In this role, you will design and develop simulations that accurately reflect real-world driving conditions. Your work will involve modeling various agents, such as vehicles and pedestrians, as well as environmental factors like weather and traffic control systems. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to ensure that the simulations are robust and effective in training the Waymo Driver.

You will be responsible for optimizing simulation performance and ensuring that the systems you develop can handle extensive data processing. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and reliability of autonomous driving technology. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of engineering practices within the team.
