Who you are
You have a solid background in backend engineering, with experience in building production systems that scale effectively. Your expertise in Java and Python allows you to develop robust applications that meet user needs while maintaining high performance. You understand the intricacies of REST APIs and have experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Your ability to collaborate with UX and interaction design teams ensures that you can refine user experiences in complex environments. You are familiar with engineering artifacts, reliability monitoring, and security practices, which are essential for maintaining high-quality software. You communicate effectively with other software developers and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals.
Desirable
Experience with data analysis and city health data collection is a plus, as it will help you contribute to the development of systems that enhance the rider experience. Familiarity with production hygiene and support processes will also be beneficial in this role.
What you'll do
