What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Box, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend services that support our Intelligent Content Management platform. You will work closely with product managers and other engineers to define system requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your role will involve optimizing existing services for performance and reliability, ensuring that our systems can handle millions of requests efficiently.

You will also lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Collaborating with other teams, you will contribute to the overall architecture of our systems, ensuring that they are designed for scalability and maintainability.

In addition, you will participate in incident response and production monitoring, helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise. Your contributions will directly impact how our customers interact with our platform, making their workflows more efficient and effective.
