You have a strong background in machine learning, with experience in developing and implementing advanced algorithms that enhance simulation realism. You are familiar with the latest ML technologies, including large foundation models and diffusion technology, and understand how to apply them effectively in simulation contexts. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside software engineers and data scientists to create innovative solutions that push the boundaries of autonomous driving technology.

Experience with simulation frameworks and tools is a plus, as is familiarity with autonomous driving systems. What you'll do
As a Machine Learning Engineer at Waymo, you will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art simulations that accurately model real-world driving scenarios. You will collaborate with the Simulator Team to create realistic agents and environments that rigorously test the Waymo Driver. You will also contribute to the design and implementation of experiments that evaluate the performance of the Waymo Driver in various simulated conditions.
