You are familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, which you leverage to deploy scalable machine learning solutions. Your experience includes working with large datasets and implementing data pipelines that support model training and evaluation. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing machine learning algorithms that enhance the Waymo Driver's understanding of its environment. You will collaborate with the Driver Understanding and Evaluation team to create robust evaluation metrics and ensure the reliability of the autonomous driving system. Your work will involve building and operating large-scale machine learning systems that process vast amounts of data from both real-world driving and simulation.

You will engage in cross-team collaborations to integrate machine learning solutions into production systems, ensuring that the algorithms you develop are scalable and efficient. Your contributions will directly impact the performance of the Waymo Driver, helping to improve safety and reliability in autonomous driving scenarios. You will also participate in the design and implementation of simulation workflows that allow for comprehensive testing and evaluation of the Waymo Driver's capabilities.
