What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance the performance of Waymo's machine learning models. You will work across the entire ML stack, focusing on optimizing model deployment and ensuring that the models run efficiently on both cloud infrastructure and vehicle platforms. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategies for model compression and performance tuning, as well as monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of deployed models. You will also contribute to the development of tools that automate the machine learning workflow, making it easier for teams to manage features and experiments.
You will engage with various teams, including Perception, Planner, Research, and Simulation, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their machine learning capabilities. Your role will involve hands-on coding and experimentation, allowing you to stay at the forefront of machine learning technology while driving impactful results.
What we offer
Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $204,000—$259,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
