You have a strong background in community engagement and public relations, ideally with experience in technology or transportation sectors. Your ability to develop and execute strategic community plans is complemented by your excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. You understand the importance of advocacy and grassroots campaigns in driving public acceptance of innovative technologies. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to align community strategies with organizational goals. What you'll do
In this role, you will architect community strategies that resonate with local markets, ensuring that Waymo's initiatives are understood and supported by the community. You will develop and execute local engagement plans, collaborating with internal teams and local consultants to foster relationships with key third-party groups and influencers. Your efforts will focus on implementing advocacy campaigns that highlight the safety benefits of Waymo's technology. You will also support the innovative work of engineering, product, and safety teams by communicating their advancements to the public. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the narrative around autonomous driving and its impact on society. You will monitor community feedback and adapt strategies as needed to ensure ongoing engagement and support.
What we offer
Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $158,000—$200,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
