What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with researchers and architects to specify and design microarchitectures that deliver exceptional performance for Waymo's autonomous driving technology. You will be responsible for translating high-level requirements into detailed hardware features, ensuring that the designs align with the overall mission of improving mobility and safety. Your contributions will directly impact the performance of the Waymo Driver, which powers the company's fully autonomous ride-hail service.

You will collaborate with various teams to optimize hardware and software for maximum performance, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in autonomous vehicle technology. Your work will involve developing system-level compute architectures and creating high-performance custom silicon that meets the demanding requirements of autonomous driving applications. What we offer

Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $170,000 to $216,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
