You have a strong background in machine learning and hardware architecture, with at least 5 years of experience in designing and optimizing compute platforms. Your expertise in Python and TensorFlow allows you to analyze workloads and propose innovative hardware-friendly implementations. You are familiar with Kubernetes and Docker, enabling you to work effectively in containerized environments. You understand the intricacies of system-level architecture and can collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-performance outcomes. You are driven by a passion for autonomous technology and are eager to contribute to a mission that aims to improve mobility and safety on the roads.
What you'll do
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Waymo, you will be responsible for architecting and designing high-performance custom silicon that powers our autonomous driving technology. You will analyze workloads and map them efficiently to hardware, proposing novel implementations that enhance performance, power, and latency. Collaborating closely with the Compute Team, you will ensure that hardware and software are optimized for maximum efficiency. You will also engage in simulation and testing to validate your designs, contributing to the continuous improvement of our autonomous vehicle systems. Your role will involve working with cutting-edge technologies and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the field of autonomous driving.
