Waymo is seeking a Silicon DFT Architect to contribute to the design and optimization of high-performance custom silicon for autonomous vehicles. Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in Design for Test (DFT) methodologies, with experience in scripting, test insertion, and ATPG generation. Your hands-on experience allows you to effectively drive ASIC partners and internal design teams to meet automotive test targets. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for pushing the boundaries of performance, power, and latency in silicon design.
You thrive in a multidisciplinary environment and enjoy collaborating with various teams to ensure that hardware and software are optimized for maximum performance. Your curiosity and talent for problem-solving make you an ideal fit for a role that requires both technical expertise and innovative thinking.
What you'll do
In this role, you will contribute to all aspects of DFT, from methodology development to pattern delivery. You will take on both lead and hands-on responsibilities, ensuring that the DFT processes are integrated seamlessly into the design flow. You will work closely with ASIC partners to define test targets and drive the execution of test strategies that align with automotive standards.
You will also collaborate with internal design teams to ensure that the silicon architecture meets the stringent requirements of autonomous driving technology. Your contributions will play a critical role in the success of the Waymo Driver, enhancing the safety and reliability of autonomous vehicles.
What we offer
Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $238,000—$302,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
