What you'll do

In this role, you will plan and conduct safety research projects that focus on safety impact and severity estimation. You will leverage advanced methodologies and collaborate with experts to ensure that safety considerations are integrated throughout the design and development of Waymo's autonomous vehicles. Your work will involve developing safety goals and strategies, as well as conducting safety engineering analyses to continuously improve the safety of Waymo’s technology.

You will also be responsible for advising on compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, working closely with regulatory authorities and public organizations. Your contributions will play a crucial role in enhancing the safety of autonomous driving technologies and promoting public trust in Waymo's mission to improve mobility and save lives.

What we offer

Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $230,000—$292,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
