You possess excellent analytical skills and a keen understanding of safety engineering analyses. You are committed to promoting safety in autonomous vehicles and ensuring compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will plan and conduct safety research projects that focus on safety impact and severity estimation. You will leverage advanced methodologies and collaborate with experts to ensure that safety considerations are integrated throughout the design and development of Waymo's autonomous vehicles. Your work will involve developing safety goals and strategies, as well as conducting safety engineering analyses to continuously improve the safety of Waymo’s technology.
You will also be responsible for advising on compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, working closely with regulatory authorities and public organizations.
