What you'll do
In this role, you will implement highly efficient sensor data processing algorithms that are critical for the performance of the Waymo Driver. You will optimize existing CPU code to improve compute utilization and reduce latency, ensuring that the system operates at peak efficiency. Writing CUDA kernels will be a key responsibility, as you will speed up specific operations that are essential for real-time processing.
You will work across the entire software stack, collaborating with other engineers to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that enhance overall system performance. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of the Waymo Driver, enabling it to process vast amounts of data quickly and accurately.

What we offer
Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $170,000 to $216,000 USD, along with opportunities for participation in an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
