What you'll do
In this role, you will design, implement, and improve high-performance onboard routing algorithms that guide Waymo cars. You will work with a creative team responsible for ensuring that the behavior of our cars is safe, dynamically feasible, reliable, and comfortable in environments where inputs can be noisy, uncertain, or incomplete. Your work will involve analyzing complex data sets to optimize routing decisions and enhance the overall performance of the Waymo Driver. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate your algorithms into the broader software architecture, ensuring that they meet the rigorous safety and performance standards required for autonomous driving. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes within the team.
What we offer
Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $238,000 to $302,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
