What you'll do
In this role, you will create and own the comprehensive requirements for cybersecurity and network communications for the Waymo vehicle. You will collaborate with OEMs and Functional Systems Engineers to define and implement the network architecture, ensuring that it meets all functional, safety, and security goals. You will align the comprehensive network communication matrix, defining the critical interfaces between the Waymo system and the OEM base vehicle platform. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of the Waymo Driver, contributing to the overall mission of improving access to mobility and enhancing safety on the roads.
You will also be responsible for conducting thorough testing and validation of network systems, ensuring that they operate seamlessly within the autonomous driving framework. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the integration process, as well as providing ongoing support for network-related inquiries. You will stay updated on the latest advancements in network technology and cybersecurity to continuously improve the systems you manage.
