What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Vehicle Understanding team, focusing on the development of production modules that enhance the Waymo Driver's capabilities. You will be responsible for overseeing the classification of various vehicle types and their states, ensuring that the system can accurately interpret and respond to real-world driving scenarios. You will collaborate closely with other teams to integrate these modules into the Waymo Driver, driving immediate impact and supporting the company's expansion efforts. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding the team through the challenges of scaling the technology for diverse applications. You will also be involved in strategic planning, helping to define the vision and roadmap for vehicle understanding initiatives.
What we offer
