What you'll do
As the Technical Lead Manager, you will oversee the Simulator Team at Waymo, guiding a diverse group of machine learning engineers, software engineers, and data scientists. You will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art simulations that accurately reflect real-world environments, including traffic systems and weather conditions. Your role will involve modeling realistic agents such as vehicles and pedestrians, ensuring that the Waymo Driver is tested in a variety of scenarios. You will lead the team in employing the latest ML technologies, including foundational world models and large language models, to enhance simulation performance.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals and deliverables, ensuring that simulations meet the rigorous standards required for autonomous driving.
