You have a strong background in machine learning, particularly in areas such as reinforcement learning and generative modeling. You are familiar with Bayesian inference and hierarchical learning, and you have a passion for developing innovative solutions that push the boundaries of technology. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Your analytical skills enable you to evaluate and improve existing models, ensuring they meet the high standards required for autonomous driving applications.
Desirable
Experience with large-scale 3D dynamic scene reconstruction is a plus, as is familiarity with generative methods for scene synthesis. You have a track record of publishing research findings and contributing to the academic community, showcasing your commitment to advancing the field of AI and machine learning. You are comfortable with programming languages commonly used in research, such as Python, and have experience with relevant frameworks and tools.
What you'll do
In this role, you will tackle fundamental and applied research problems related to large-scale 3D dynamic scene reconstruction from real-world scenarios. You will develop and implement generative models that enhance the simulation capabilities of the Waymo Driver. Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $204,000—$259,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
