What you'll do

As a Senior Database Administrator at Wealthsimple, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining our primary analytics data warehouses on Redshift and Snowflake. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams, to ensure the excellence of operations for our fleet of RDS Aurora Postgres databases. Your role will involve optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and implementing scalable solutions as the company continues to grow.

You will take ownership of database administration tasks, including monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices for database management. You will also be involved in designing and implementing data models that support our analytics and reporting needs. Your contributions will directly impact critical financial operations and client data management, making your role vital to the success of Wealthsimple.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and share your knowledge of database technologies.
