Overview
Metronome is seeking a Head of Security to build and oversee the security program as the company scales. You'll ensure the security of the usage-based billing platform while working with a talented team. This role requires a hands-on security generalist with experience in security architecture.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a hands-on security generalist with a strong background in building security programs for rapidly scaling companies. You understand the importance of security in modern software development and have experience implementing zero trust architectures and principles of least privilege. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of product development.
You have a proven track record of developing security policies and procedures that align with business objectives. Your experience includes conducting risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response planning. You are adept at communicating security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that everyone understands their role in maintaining security.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for building and leading Metronome's security program as the company continues to grow. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include conducting security audits, managing security incidents, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
You will also develop and implement security training programs for employees to foster a culture of security awareness. Collaborating with external partners and vendors, you will assess third-party risks and ensure that security measures are in place across the supply chain. As the Head of Security, you will play a critical role in safeguarding Metronome's platform and customer data, contributing to the overall success of the company.
