Who you are
You are an experienced language professional with a strong background in reviewing and refining customer service content in Portuguese (Brazil). You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring linguistic accuracy and consistency in translated materials. Your expertise allows you to identify systemic quality issues and provide valuable feedback that contributes to continuous improvement efforts. You understand the nuances of the Portuguese language and are committed to maintaining high-quality standards in translation.
What you'll do
In this role, you will conduct second-pass quality reviews of machine-translated materials, ensuring they meet the project's linguistic accuracy and consistency requirements. You will validate and calibrate severity assessments to align with quality standards, identifying recurring error patterns and tone mismatches. Your high-level qualitative feedback will play a crucial role in final quality reporting and ongoing improvement initiatives. This position involves intermittent work, with tasks assigned on an ad hoc basis throughout the year, depending on client needs.
