Who you are

You are an experienced language professional with a strong background in translation and quality assurance. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring that content is accurate and aligns with project guidelines. Your expertise in reviewing machine-translated materials allows you to identify and rectify issues related to tone, terminology, and overall quality. You understand the nuances of the Italian language and are committed to delivering high-quality content that meets client expectations.

You possess the ability to conduct thorough second-pass quality reviews, ensuring that all content is linguistically accurate and consistent across various batches. Your experience enables you to validate and calibrate severity assessments effectively, maintaining alignment with established quality standards. You are adept at identifying systemic machine translation quality issues, including recurring error patterns and inconsistencies, which contributes to continuous improvement efforts.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and refining Italian customer service content, focusing on enhancing the quality of machine-translated materials. You will conduct quality reviews to ensure overall linguistic accuracy and consistency, providing high-level qualitative feedback that directly contributes to final quality reporting. Your work will involve identifying systemic quality issues and providing insights that help improve the translation process.

You will work on an ongoing project, with tasks assigned on an ad hoc basis throughout the year, depending on client needs. Your contributions will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of customer service content, ensuring that it meets the expectations of both the client and the end-users. You will collaborate with other language professionals and stakeholders to ensure that the content aligns with project guidelines and quality standards.

This position offers an hourly rate of $27.41, reflecting the value of your expertise in translation quality review.
