Who you are
You have a strong interest in digital video and a thorough understanding of common technical issues found in video and audio. With at least 1 year of experience in video editing or technical video roles, you are adept at troubleshooting common errors such as frame rate issues and subtitling mistakes. Your analytical skills are excellent, and you possess good knowledge of macOS systems, which allows you to navigate technical challenges effectively. You are also a quick responder to issues, demonstrating a track record of decisiveness in high-volume environments.
Your passion for the film and TV industry drives you to stay updated on trends and developments. You communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, which helps you collaborate with team members and stakeholders. While multilingual skills are a plus, your proficiency in English is essential for success in this role. You are willing to take the initiative and propose solutions to improve video quality and user experience.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and troubleshooting video content for a leading consumer technology company. You will work remotely from Japan, ensuring that the video quality meets the standards required for release in target markets.
