Welocalize is hiring a Lead Quality Manager for their Generative AI Data Quality team. You'll oversee program-level quality strategy execution and manage a team of Analysts and Coordinators. This role requires expertise in quality systems and compliance.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in quality management, particularly in the context of AI data quality. With experience in setting program quality goals and managing teams, you understand how to align team performance with organizational objectives. Your familiarity with quality systems, including SOPs and QA gates, ensures that you can maintain high standards in all deliverables. You are also comfortable with data analysis tools and have a good grasp of SQL and ETL processes, which are essential for evaluating data quality.
You possess excellent leadership skills, having managed teams in previous roles. You know how to hire, coach, and run performance cycles effectively, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your ability to make tactical decisions and escalate high-impact items when necessary demonstrates your strategic thinking and operational acumen. You are detail-oriented and have a keen eye for identifying areas for process optimization.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the execution of the program-level quality strategy for high-volume initiatives. You will set the roadmap and operating rhythms, including cadence and audit plans, to ensure that quality goals are met consistently. Managing a team of Analysts and Coordinators, you will be responsible for their performance and development, ensuring that they are aligned with the overall objectives of the organization.
You will partner closely with the Operations Manager to drive client outcomes and team performance. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular reviews and audits to assess compliance with quality standards. You will also be involved in the strategic decision-making process, making day-to-day decisions that impact the team's effectiveness and efficiency.
