Welocalize is hiring a Localization Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance processes and manage vendor performance. Job Description

Who you are

You have a Master's Degree in Linguistics, Foreign Languages, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the localization industry. You possess strong analytical skills and are adept at managing quality assurance processes, ensuring that all deliverables meet high standards. Your experience includes working with external resources and managing teams, allowing you to effectively coordinate and support various quality initiatives.

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and proficiency in an additional language is preferred. You have a solid understanding of quality management principles and are familiar with methodologies such as Agile and Lean Six Sigma, which will help you drive process improvements and enhance overall quality.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the coordination, planning, and execution of Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) processes. You will analyze data on quality and vendor performance, producing statistical quality reports and documentation related to root cause analysis (RCA), quality improvement plans (QIP), and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). You may also own a portfolio of designated accounts, anticipating their needs and performing corrective actions as necessary.

You will be responsible for designing and delivering training to both internal and external resources, ensuring that all stakeholders are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to maintain quality standards. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of new processes and assess current ones to identify areas for improvement.

As the main point of contact for external resources, you will manage relationships with freelancers and other partners, ensuring that quality expectations are met. You will also prepare presentations for quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and other quality initiatives, showcasing your findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
