Welocalize is seeking a Patent Translator to translate patents from English into Korean. The role requires native-level fluency in Korean and experience in translating patents in fields such as Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a skilled translator with native-level fluency in Korean and a strong command of English. You have experience in translating patents, particularly in specialized fields such as Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Electricity, and Mechanics. Your attention to detail ensures that you produce high-quality translations that maintain the integrity of the original content. You are available immediately for translation projects and are comfortable working with CAT tools like XTM.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for translating patents from English into Korean, ensuring accuracy and clarity in your translations. You will proofread your work to maintain high standards of quality and consistency. Your expertise in the relevant technical fields will enable you to understand complex terminology and concepts, allowing you to deliver translations that meet the needs of our clients. You will manage a weekly workload of over 5,000 words, collaborating with project managers to meet deadlines and client expectations.
