Whatnot is seeking a Senior Compensation Business Partner / Lead to guide compensation strategy across Engineering, Product, and Design. You have extensive experience in compensation strategy, ideally within a technology-focused environment. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to assess and influence compensation frameworks effectively. You understand the importance of balancing competitiveness, equity, and fiscal responsibility in compensation programs. You are a strong communicator, capable of partnering with senior leaders across various departments to drive strategic initiatives. Your ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence decision-making is a key strength. You are passionate about creating equitable compensation practices that support talent density and business growth. You thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to fostering a culture of respect and inclusion.
Desirable
Experience in a fast-growing marketplace or e-commerce environment would be a plus. Familiarity with compensation tools and analytics platforms can enhance your effectiveness in this role. What you'll do
In this role, you will guide the compensation strategy across Engineering, Product, and Design teams at Whatnot. You will collaborate with senior EPD leaders to design frameworks that ensure our compensation programs are competitive and equitable. Your strategic insights will help shape the technical talent architecture, ensuring that our compensation practices reward impact and align with business objectives. You will analyze compensation data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership. Additionally, you will play a key role in communicating compensation strategies to employees, ensuring transparency and understanding of our compensation philosophy. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure that compensation programs are fiscally responsible and aligned with the company's financial goals. Your influence will extend across the organization as you advocate for best practices in compensation and talent management.
