Whatnot is seeking a Senior Compensation Business Partner to drive compensation strategy across various business functions. You'll provide strategic guidance to senior leaders on compensation design and organizational planning. This role requires strong business acumen and cross-functional influence.
Job Description
Who you are
You have extensive experience in compensation strategy, ideally with a focus on business-facing teams such as Finance, Legal, and Operations. Your strong business acumen allows you to understand the nuances of compensation design and its impact on attracting and retaining top talent. You are a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insights that align compensation with organizational goals. You thrive in cross-functional environments, influencing stakeholders across various departments to ensure a cohesive approach to compensation. Your ability to analyze market trends and internal data enables you to recommend competitive compensation packages that reflect the value of the roles within the organization. You are passionate about creating equitable compensation structures that support diversity and inclusion within the workforce.
Desirable
Experience in a fast-growing startup environment is a plus, as is familiarity with compensation software and analytics tools. You may also have a background in HR analytics, which enhances your ability to make data-driven decisions regarding compensation strategies.
What you'll do

As a Senior Compensation Business Partner, you will facilitate discussions around compensation philosophy and practices, ensuring transparency and understanding across the organization. You will work closely with the People Operations team to integrate compensation strategies into broader HR initiatives, fostering a culture of performance and accountability.
