What you'll do

As Litigation Counsel at Whatnot, you will own the strategy and execution for all contentious matters, ensuring that the company is well-prepared to handle any legal challenges that arise. You will lead the management of high-stakes commercial disputes, working closely with internal stakeholders to develop effective legal strategies. Your role will involve coordinating with the Legal, Public Policy, Trust & Risk, and Communications teams to ensure consistency in regulatory responses and to manage litigation risks effectively.

You will be responsible for overseeing regulatory investigations and enforcement actions, providing guidance to the company on compliance matters. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the fast-evolving regulatory landscape, allowing Whatnot to continue its growth trajectory while minimizing legal exposure.
