Who you are
You have a strong background in real estate management and workplace strategy, with experience in scaling operations for a growing organization. Your expertise includes overseeing real estate transactions and managing office buildouts, ensuring that physical spaces foster collaboration and connection. You are adept at working with senior leadership to align workplace strategies with organizational goals, particularly in a remote-first environment. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to partner effectively with various departments, including Finance and Operations.
Desirable
Experience in a fast-paced e-commerce or technology environment is a plus. Familiarity with global real estate markets and workplace trends will enhance your ability to contribute to Whatnot's growth. You are a forward-thinking problem solver who thrives in dynamic settings and can adapt strategies to meet evolving business needs.
What you'll do
As the Global Real Estate & Workplace Lead, you will define and execute Whatnot's real estate and workplace strategy as the company scales from 1,000 to 1,500+ employees by 2026. You will be responsible for all real estate transactions, office buildouts, and facilities operations globally. Your role will ensure that Whatnot's physical spaces support intentional collaboration while honoring the company's remote-first culture. You will report directly to the Chief People Officer and collaborate with senior leadership to shape the future of workplace strategy at Whatnot.
