Overview
Whatnot is seeking a Senior Communications Manager to lead storytelling efforts across various priorities in France. You'll work closely with the VP of Communications & Policy to shape perceptions of the company. This role is based in London and requires strong communication skills.

Who you are
You have extensive experience in communications, particularly in managing corporate and consumer narratives. Your background includes working in fast-paced environments where you have successfully shaped and protected brand perceptions. You are adept at storytelling and can navigate complex topics related to Trust & Safety and policy-related issues. You understand the nuances of the French market and can tailor communications strategies accordingly. You possess strong leadership skills and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the communications strategy for Whatnot in France, focusing on corporate, consumer, and policy-related communications. You will work closely with the VP of Communications & Policy to develop and implement proactive and reactive communication plans that resonate with the French audience. Your responsibilities will include crafting press releases, managing media relations, and overseeing internal communications to ensure alignment with company values and objectives. You will also monitor public sentiment and adjust strategies as needed to protect and enhance the company's reputation in a rapidly evolving market.
